CAA MANITOBA CONTEST PRIZING AGREEMENT
1. CONTEST
The “Contest” shall be sponsored by Winnipeg Goldeyes Baseball Club Inc. (the “Sponsor”) and shall run from 12:00 Noon CDT August 6, 2024, to 12:00 Noon CDT August 23, 2024, inclusive (the “Contest Period”).
2. APPLICATION
These rules and regulations (the “Rules”) shall apply to the CAA Manitoba Contest (the “Contest”) unless stipulated otherwise, and where alternate rules and regulations are made available to the public. If there are any discrepancies between these Rules and Regulations and any other rules and regulations posted for any Contest (the “Alternate Rules”), such discrepancy shall be resolved in favor of the Alternate Rules.
3. ELIGIBILITY
The Contest is open to legal residents of Manitoba, who have reached the age of majority (18 years of age) as of the date of entry for the Contest with the following exceptions: employees and retirees of the Sponsors and its affiliates, partners, suppliers, representatives, agents, advertising and promotional agencies, the independent contest agency if any, and the household members and Immediate Family of any of the above are not eligible to participate in the Contest. For the purpose of these Contest Rules, “Immediate Family” means spouse, mother, father, brother, sister, son or daughter, whether or not they reside in the same.
4. HOW TO ENTER
There is “no purchase necessary” to enter the Contest.
To enter the Contest, entrants will be encouraged to scan the QR code or click through a Link displayed or describe and follow the instructions as provided.
There is no limit to the number of times that an entrant may enter the contest during the contest period. For online, proof of sending is not proof of receipt. Entries that are incomplete, late, lost, and/or irregular in any way or sent by an unauthorized method are automatically void and will not be eligible or accepted. Entries will only be accepted as described herein and will not be accepted by any other means
5. THE PRIZES
Twelve (12) prizes are available to be won, each consisting of four (4) tickets in the double Skysuite at Blue Cross Park for the Goldeyes game on Sunday, September 1, 2024, a co-branded prize pack with a Goldeyes t-shirt, signed baseball, CAA gift card, and a group photo with the players and/or Goldie mascot on the field after the game, each valued at $500 CAD (individually a “Prize”, collectively the “Prizes”).
The Prize must be accepted as awarded, and may not be assigned, transferred, substituted, exchanged, refunded, or redeemed for cash value. Prizes include delivery within approximately one (1) to three (3) week(s).
6. THE DRAW
Twelve (12) winners (“Winner(s)”) will be selected by random draw from all eligible entries received during the Contest Period. The decision will be made by the Winnipeg Goldeyes on Friday, August 23, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. CDT at its office located at Blue Cross Park, 1 Portage Avenue East, Winnipeg, Manitoba.
The odds of winning a Prize will depend on the number of eligible entries received during the Contest Period.
7. LIABILITY
The winner acknowledges that the collection or use of any prize may be inherently dangerous and agrees to release and hold harmless the Sponsor of any and all damages they may incur through entering the Contest or through the collection or use of the prize. The winner also agrees to sign a standard release and waiver of liability prior to claiming the prize which will generally be provided.
Notwithstanding the execution or provision of the aforementioned standard release and waiver, each entrant and any potential or declared winner, by participating in and entering the Contest, releases the Sponsor, their subsidiaries, respective divisions, their parent corporations, their advertising and promotional agencies, their shareholders, officers, directors, employees, agents and representatives (hereinafter the “Beneficiaries”) from any and all liability for any and all damage, loss or liability suffered as a result of or arising from the entrant’s participation in the Contest or the acceptance or use of any Contest prize. To be declared a winner, and prior to obtaining the prize, any potential or declared winner agrees to sign a declaration to such effect in the release form. The Prize must be accepted as awarded.
8. RELEASE OF PRIVACY RIGHTS
By participating in this Contest, entrants consent and confirm they have obtained informed written or verbal consent from their guest(s) (where the guest is under the age of 18, from my guest's parent or legal guardian), that by accepting the prize and/or participating in this event , we consent to the Sponsor use (without obligation) of my and/or my guests name, city of residence, voices, photographs, videos, images or likenesses in any publicity or advertisements carried out by or on behalf of the Sponsor in connection with this Contest, without any further payment or consideration.
9. ENTRANT INFORMATION
The Sponsor will receive an opt-in on the entry to receive Entrant Information from all Entrants who expressly consent to providing their respective Entrant Information to the Sponsor. The Sponsor warrants that it shall not disclose, transfer, or sell any portion of the Entrant Information to any third party and shall not use any portion of the Entrant Information for any purpose other than set forth in this agreement without the consent of the Entrant or as otherwise permitted or required by law. The Sponsor agree that its use of the Entrant Information, during the Contest Period and at any time, thereafter, shall be in compliance with all Privacy Laws governing the Entrant Information.
Content: Must be 18 of age or older to enter. By completing this form, I agree to receive information via email from the Sponsor. I understand that I can withdraw consent at any time by email.
10. GENERAL
Prize winners shall be responsible for all costs and expenses not explicitly stated to form part of the prize, including but not limited to taxes, fees, gratuities, insurance, or travel to and from the airport where the winner may require travel to collect the prize unless anything contrary is expressly provided for in the description of any such prize.
The Sponsor may at its sole discretion substitute a prize or a portion thereof with an alternate prize of similar nature of equal or greater value. Notwithstanding the foregoing, the Sponsor shall not be responsible to substitute a prize or portion thereof where such prize cannot be redeemed due to factors beyond its reasonable control. the Sponsor reserve the right, at their sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the “Contest”, in whole or in part, in the case of the occurrence of an event, an error or any human intervention that could corrupt or affect the administration, safety, impartiality or the running of the “Contest” as provided in these Rules. All decisions of the Sponsor or those of their representatives regarding the “Contest” are final and binding.
The winner also agrees to abide by any rules and regulations for pick up or delivery of any prize won, any such rules to be provided by the Sponsors for a particular Contest prize.
By entering the Contest, all persons are deemed to have read and to have accepted the Rules.

This Contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram (each, a “Social Media Platform”). The Social Media Platform is completely released of all liability by each entrant or participant in this contest. Any questions, comments or complaints regarding the contest must be directed to the Sponsor and not the Social Media Platform.
