Situation

Why are there no games?

Due to ongoing provincial and federal regulations pertaining to the size of gatherings and cross-border travel, the Goldeyes announced that the club will yet host games at Shaw Park.

The Goldeyes will assess a return to Winnipeg in 2021 as progress is made towards a reopening of the border.

If games can be hosted in Winnipeg in 2021, we will make that announcement once details are confirmed.

What is going to happen instead?

The Winnipeg Goldeyes will play their “home” games in Jackson, Tennessee.

The Ballpark at Jackson is the former home of the double-A level Jackson Generals.

What are they doing to keep players, staff, fans safe?

Each team and stadium will have in place and enforce COVID Readiness Plans, approved by local Health Departments and Government Officials. Stadiums will be configured to return to play with limited capacity in order to allow for safe social distancing while enjoying a live, professional baseball game.

Goldeyes players and coaches received their vaccinations before spring training.

Games

Can we attend these games?

Tickets will be available through the the Jackson Generals ticket portal.

The Winnipeg Goldeyes do not have access to any tickets for these games.

How can I watch the games?

All Goldeyes games are available on the league’s streaming platform, AABaseball.TV.

How can I listen to the games?
All games will be broadcast live on CJNU 93.7 FM – the radio home of your Goldeyes.

Tickets

What happens with my Season Tickets or Mini Pack?

Communication has been sent to all Season Ticket and Mini Pack holders. You have the option to carry forward the amount paid toward your 2022 seats, or you can request a refund.

As a token of our appreciation, those carrying forward will receive a special credit based on a percentage of the carry forward amount. This credit can be used for food&beverage or merchandise at Shaw Park during the 2022 season.

If I ask for a refund this year, will I still be able to keep my seat location?

Yes, all ticket packages have been renewed for 2022 to ensure seat locations are preserved. You can repay the deposit when we resume our regular renewal schedule (deposits due end of November 2021; balance due end of April 2022).

I got an e-mail and letter about checking my previously-made payments in my account. How do I do that?

If you have a ticket package, you will already have an account – No need to create a new one.

What happens to my Skysuite booking?
Everyone who has booked a Skysuite for this year has been contacted directly. You have the option to carry forward the amount paid to a 2022 booking, or you can request a refund.

I have ticket vouchers (from Christmas, from a Social Prize, etc). Can I still use them?

All 2020 and 2021 ticket vouchers will be accepted during the 2022 seasons, without needing to replace them with new vouchers.

Should there be a home games in 2021, ticket vouchers will be accepted for these games.

What happens to my child's Junior Fan Club membership?
Any pre-paid memberships will be carried forward to 2022. The Club has suspended its activities this year.

Is the ballpark open?

Shaw Park remains closed to the public until further notice.

The Team Store remains closed to the public until further notice. Shop online 24/7 at shopgoldeyes.ca.

Is the Box Office open?
The Box Office at Shaw Park remains closed to the public until further notice. Access your account 24/7 via AccountManager.
Is the Administration Office open?

Our admin office remains closed to the public until further notice. Phone lines and e-mail are open during regular business hours.
