WINNIPEG, MB – The Winnipeg Goldeyes are excited to continue their strategic partnership with Out of the Park Developments to promote Out of the Park Baseball 19 throughout the 2018 season.

Out of the Park Baseball 19 (OOTP 19) is a computer simulation (available for both PC and Mac) that allows users to take control of their favourite baseball franchise.

The game includes accurate rosters for more than a dozen professional leagues and associations, including Major League Baseball and its minor league affiliates, Nippon Professional Baseball (the Japanese Major Leagues), the Korea Baseball Organization, the Mexican League, and North American-based independent leagues.

The Winnipeg Goldeyes, along with the rest of the American Association, are represented within the game.

“Out of the Park Baseball 19 delivers a truly immersive and realistic baseball experience that fans of all ages can enjoy,” said Goldeyes’ general manager Andrew Collier, who is also depicted in the game.  “Seeing the Goldeyes and the American Association once again accurately represented in a computer game is an extraordinary achievement, and something none of us could have imagined as recently as a few years ago.”

Users build franchises just as they are built in real life through trades, free agent signings, and the amateur draft.  Users can also manage each individual game, deciding when to bunt, hit-and-run, or steal from the first pitch until the final out.  Additionally, real-life dynamics unfold as the game’s timeline progresses, such as league expansion or relocation, independent players having their contracts purchased, or an international phenomenon being made available through a “posting” system.

“We are delighted to once again partner with the Winnipeg Goldeyes, a championship organization from top to bottom,” said Out of the Park Developments Chief Marketing Officer Richard Grisham.  “Accurately representing baseball at every level is our passion, and our relationship with the Goldeyes reflects that perfectly.  We continue to work closely with them to ensure their club is represented authentically, and are proud to have achieved that.  They are a model independent baseball club, and we could not be happier to extend our relationship.”

OOTP 19 is on sale now, and is available for purchase through the Goldeyes’ official website:

Fans can also win free copies of the game throughout the 2018 season by listening to Goldeyes’ radio broadcasts on 93.7 FM CJNU.

Two years ago, the game was voted Metacritic’s 2016 PC Game of the Year.
