Samson enters his 18th season as a member of the Goldeyes’ clubhouse staff after starting out as a bat boy in 2001. Samson was promoted to Assistant Clubhouse Manager in 2005, and took over his current position as Clubhouse/Equipment Manager midway through 2007.
The St. Andrews, Manitoba native is responsible for all gameday player services, including equipment dispersal, meal preparation, and uniforms. In 2015, Samson worked his 1,000th game as a member of the Goldeyes’ clubhouse staff. During the off-season, Samson is a supervisor for a ground handler at Winnipeg’s Richardson International Airport. Samson graduated from Selkirk Comprehensive High School, and holds a Business Administration degree from the University of Winnipeg.
