WINNIPEG, MB – The Winnipeg Goldeyes will be volunteering at Winnipeg Harvest on Tuesday, December 13th from 10:00-11:30 a.m.
Members of the Goldeyes’ front office staff, as well as team mascot “Goldie”, will assist Winnipeg Harvest in assembling holiday cheer packages. The 2016 American Association championship trophy will be on display, and Goldeyes’ fans who make a food donation to Winnipeg Harvest on December 13th receive a free championship team photo. The Goldeyes will also present a donation to Winnipeg Harvest on behalf of the Winnipeg Goldeyes Field of Dreams Foundation.
“We are thrilled at the support we have had from the Winnipeg Goldeyes Baseball club over the years,” said David Northcott , Executive Director of Winnipeg Harvest. “Their commitment to us is plenty. Their holiday volunteering at Winnipeg Harvest, taking donations for ‘Tin for the Bin’ at each home game, and helping equip school age children with school supplies shows their dedication and commitment to helping others in need. ‘Thank you Goldeyes.’”
