Rick Forney on Brennan Bernardino: He was in the Arizona Fall League last year, and you don’t get invited there unless you’re a prospect. He scuffled a little bit in Double-A this year, and I’ve been trying to sign him for a month now. He was waiting for an opportunity with affiliated ball or in Mexico, but none of that materialized. He reached back out to me the other day saying he wants to play.
