About Evanov Radio Group
Evanov Radio is one of Canada’s few independent radio broadcasters who has been in the business since 1984. It is a young, dynamic and aggressive company. Although comparatively small in the broadcasting landscape, in an era of consolidation and cross-media ownership, it is a competitive giant in those areas it is licensed to serve.

The company has ambition and plans to grow both in terms of the geographical areas and the types of markets it wants to serve.

Evanov’s move into the Winnipeg market, with the launch of now one of Winnipeg’s leading radio stations, ENERGY 106 FM in August of 2011 and the purchase of the NewCap Radio stations – 100.7 FM and CKJS 810 has formed one of the strongest combination of stations in Manitoba. In less than two years Evanov Radio has been able to establish itself as leaders in the Winnipeg Market and is proud of its commitment to serving the community and in addition the 19 Ethnic groups on Manitoba’s Only Ethnic Station – CKJS 810 AM.
