LINCOLN, NE – The Winnipeg Goldeyes and Lincoln Saltdogs were suspended due to inclement weather at Haymarket Park on Friday evening.

Friday’s game will resume Saturday evening at 5:30 p.m. with the score tied at 0-0, and Carlton Tanabe batting for Winnipeg in the top of the third inning.  The continuation of Friday’s suspended game will play through the regulation nine innings.  Saturday’s originally scheduled game will follow, but has been shortened to a seven-inning contest.

Edwin Carl is set to face Lincoln right-hander Lindsey Caughel in Saturday’s originally scheduled game.  All the action can be heard locally on 93.7 FM CJNU and worldwide at www.cjnu.ca, beginning with Around the Association at 4:30 p.m.  Saturday’s games will also be carried on 89.5 FM “The Lake” in Kenora.
